In the presence of the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, Engineer Haithmal Ali, and a number of the Ministry’s leaders, the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, represented by the Department of Public Relations and Citizen Service, is organizing a blood donation campaign titled "A Small Drop. A Big Life." The campaign will continue until August 29, 2024, in the Ministry for the Ministry’s employees and the public in general.
The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, Engineer Haithmal Ali, said that organizing such campaigns is a religious, moral, and ethical duty in support of those in need of donating blood, establishing a culture of donation and altruism, and a promise to not forget others, urging everyone affiliated with the Ministry to take the initiative and participate in this campaign.
Al-Alayt also added that this campaign comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness on these humanitarian works, which call for compassion, giving, and generosity, in cooperation with the Central Blood Bank to enhance the blood reserve necessary to save patients’ lives.
He also extended his sincere thanks to the Central Blood Bank for sponsoring the Ministry’s annual blood donation campaign initiative and for their constant keenness to be present in the various sectors of the country to secure the blood needs of hospitals.
