Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy and the Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Dr. Salem Al-Hajraf, and in the presence of the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, Eng. Maha Al-As'oosi, the Assistant Undersecretaries, and the Director of the Public Relations and Citizen Service Department.

The Forum (World Earth Day, April 22) was opened out of the Ministry’s belief in the importance of land and its preservation. The Public Relations and Citizen Service Department organized the Forum, which is a global event that the world celebrates on April 22, as it highlights increasing community awareness of environmental issues using the latest technologies that protect the environment from Damages and the trend towards saving energy using methods that contribute to rationalizing energy consumption by following simple daily habits to preserve vital resources in the country.
