The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, represented by the Committee for preparing and Implementing Strategies for the Rationalization of Electricity and Water Consumption, and the teams emanating from it, participated in many events to address the following: (Retired Officers Association - Ministry of Oil - Ministry of Social Affairs - Association of Faculty Members in Applied Colleges) where a number of scientific lectures and workshops were presented, and participation in discussion panels regarding the rationalization of electricity and water consumption took place, which is the source of raising community awareness about the importance of electricity and water services and how to preserve them for their sustainability.

The committee also held a meeting with His Excellency the Governor of Hawalli, Mr. Ali Salem Al-Asfar, in the presence of a number of cooperative associations affiliated with the governorate. During the meeting, a discussion took place regarding the possibility of the governorate participating in the national campaign (Save), which aims to save energy by holding lectures, seminars, workshops, and building evaluations of vitality in the governorate. The mechanism of the program (Incentive) for rationalization, which encourages citizens to save electricity consumption through the use of renewable energy technology in housing, was explained.
