The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, represented by the committee preparing strategies for rationalizing electricity and water consumption, and the teams emanating from the committee participated in the Mirzam exhibition with an awareness pavilion on saving electricity and water consumption.

This participation is sponsored by Zain in support of educating customers about using tools that save electricity and water consumption and using modern technology in managing the home’s electrical and water system.

Representatives of the Ministry also presented to the visitors of the exhibition the latest methods for rationalizing consumption, as well as a practical experience for the public showing the importance of using water filters, which save water up to 80% without affecting the flow of water.

The head of the media and awareness team for rationalization, Engineer Khadija Abdel-Rida Mishari, also presented an awareness lecture entitled “Connecting Sustainability... Save,” in which the R6-2018 energy conservation code was reviewed, which deals with air conditioning, ventilation, insulation, and many information that customers need while building their homes.

The exhibition emphasized the necessity of using modern technology and devices that save electricity and water with an energy efficiency label.
