Today, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Dr. Salem Falah Al-Hajraf, chaired the first meeting with a number of the Ministry’s sectors (the Undersecretary’s Sector, the Administrative Affairs Sector, and the Financial Affairs Sector), which comes within a series of meetings that will be held successively with all Administrative and technical sectors in order to review the latest developments and listen to all proposals that would develop the work of the Ministry.
Dr. Salem Al-Hajraf opened the meeting with a speech in which he welcomed the leadership of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, praising the confidence of the political leadership in assigning him to assume the ministerial portfolio. His Excellency expressed his support and guidance to the leaders and officials to strive forward to overcome the obstacles and obstacles that stand before them and the solutions proposed for their implementation, stressing the need for continued achievement and development. Working within all sectors of the ministry.
He also stressed that the leaders should support the regulatory authorities and work to resolve the observations received by them, in order to continue the process of reform and achievement and advance the wheel of development in the country.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry began by appointing Eng. Maha Al-As'oosi gave a presentation on the basic tasks assigned to the sector and its affiliated departments and the most important challenges facing the Undersecretary’s sector.
The Assistant Undersecretaries for the Administrative Affairs and Financial Affairs Sectors continued to provide presentations on the sectors and discuss the applicable work mechanism in accordance with the laws regulating them. Dr. Al-Hajraf, the leader of the Ministry, urged its members to work in a single team spirit and uphold the interest of work, while committing to quickly complete the work assigned to all sectors of the Ministry. And developing it to make the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy a source of pride for all its employees, explaining that “he will spare no effort in managing the obstacles facing the Ministry with the aim of carrying out business as planned.”
In conclusion, he expressed his pride in the special national cadres of the Ministry’s employees, thanking them greatly for the efforts they are making to develop work performance and improve the quality of services provided to all citizens and residents.
