His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Dr. Salem Falah Al-Hajraf, chaired the second meeting with a number of the Ministry’s sectors (the Electrical Transmission Networks Sector, the Electrical Distribution Networks Sector, and the Customer Services Sector), which comes within a series of meetings that will be held successively with all administrative and technical sectors. To stay informed of the latest developments, and to listen to all proposals that would develop the ministry’s work.

Dr. Salem Al-Hajraf opened the meeting with a speech in which he welcomed the leaders of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and the tasks and challenges facing these sectors were reviewed and discussed.

His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy also directed the leaders to work on completing and expediting the procedures for electrical network projects of all types in order to preserve the delivery of the Ministry’s services to customers with high quality.

The Customer Service Sector discussed the current status of the smart meter project, which is considered one of the most important digital transformation projects to ensure the collection of electricity and water consumption bills.

In conclusion, His Excellency Minister Al-Hajraf confirmed that there are several other meetings that will be held to continuously follow up on the projects and overcome any obstacles facing the sectors.
