This morning, His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Boushahri, and the Minister of State for Housing Affairs met with Her Excellency Mrs. Ma Shaw, CEO of SPIC and representative of the Republic of China in the Middle East and North Africa, along with her delegation.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation in the energy field between Kuwait and China, and discussed ways to further develop them. They also discussed renewable energy projects to be implemented with China based on a strategic memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy in Kuwait and the National Energy Administration in China. Cooperation in the electric power system and renewable energy development was also discussed.

Additionally, they talked about quick solutions to increase energy production for the summer of 2025.
