Under the generous patronage of the Republic of Tajikistan, a delegation from the State of Kuwait representing the "Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy" participated in the Water Conference during the period from June 10 to 13, 2024 in the city of Dashanbe on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development" 2018-2028.

The conference focused on water for health, society, livelihoods and inclusive economic growth, water for the environment and climate resilience, as well as advancing the water action agenda of the 2023 UN Water Conference and strengthening the linkages between water resources and climate action to achieve the water-related goals of the 2023 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The State of Kuwait sought to participate effectively in the conference and discuss the most important issues related to water.
