Today, Sunday, June 25, 2023, His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Jassem Muhammad Al-Ostad, chaired a meeting of the leaders of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, with the aim of reviewing the latest developments related to the Ministry's development projects, which are being implemented and expected to be launched soon, and to listen to all proposals that would Developing work in the ministry.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry, Eng. Maha Al-As'oosi, initiated the meeting, welcoming His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Jassem Al-Ostad, and the leaders of the Ministry.

His Excellency the Minister started the meeting with a speech in which he appreciated the confidence of the political leadership in assigning him to take over the ministerial portfolio, stressing the need for continued achievement and development of work within all sectors of the ministry, in order to continue the process of reform and achievement and to advance the wheel of development in the country.

The assistant undersecretaries gave an overview of the sectors and their basic tasks, and reviewed the development projects included in the ministry’s plan that are being implemented and which contribute to increasing the production capacity of electricity and water, developing and expanding the electricity and water networks, and projects related to renewable energy, which will constitute 15% of the total electricity production in the State of Kuwait. By the year 2030, His Excellency the Minister urged all the leaders and employees of the Ministry on the importance of working in a spirit of one team and upholding the interest of work, while committing to quickly completing the work entrusted to all sectors of the Ministry and developing them so that the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy is a source of pride for all its employees, explaining, "He will spare no effort in A way to manage the obstacles facing the ministry in order to implement its projects according to its timetables.
