The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has contributed in the meetings of the fourteenth session of The Economical and Social Committee for west Asia held in Beirut during the period from 21-22 June 2023 ,in order to, achieve sustainable development of power. This meeting was headed by the acting Undersecretary of the ministry Eng. Maha Al-As'oosi and the membership of the manager of the Engineering Program Department Eng. Sana Al-Ghareeb and Eng. Asma Al-Sallal of the same department. The fourteenth session of the power committee has emphasized on achieving the seventh goal of sustainable development which bears the logo (Clean Power with reasonable Prices) allowing people to get new reliable and sustainable power services, they also emphasized on the issue of power transition in the Arab region and possible development in the production of Hydrogen to achieve sustainable development.

A visual presentation has been presented about the State of Kuwait's efforts to improve the production of power and renewable energy, and the strategies of Hydrogen and carbon sequestration.
