His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Eng. Mutlaq Abu Rguba chaired today the meeting of the supreme committee for planning during which the demand plan for Electric power and water was reviewed.

The meeting discussed defining the terms of reference of the teams concerned with the study of Renewable Energy. His Excellency the Minister briefed on the programs of the operational plan for the year 2022/2023 for all sectors of the Ministry, as well as on the projects of development plan and the strategic objectives.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister directed the necessity of activating the role of educational outputs from Kuwaitis, with a commitment to training and involving them in field work.

He also directed the necessity of activating awareness by preserving the national revolution, rationalizing the consumption of electric energy, and reducing waste in water.
