Today, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy hosted a coordination meeting between the Electricity International Authority of the cooperation council of the Arab States of the Gulf to begin the work of implementing the electrical interconnection project, which was held under the chairmanship of the Assistant Undersecretary for Electricity Transmission Networks, commissioned by Eng. Faisal Al-Sumait, in the presence of a technical team from the Ministry Deputy CEO of Networks in the interconnection Authority, Eng. Muhammad Al-Sheikh, Director of Board Affairs Abdul Mohsen Al-Muslimi, and Director of protection and communications, Eng. Alaa Rahma.

The meeting discussed the latest developments related to the project to strengthen electrical interconnection with Kuwait and its expansion across the State of Kuwait to the Republic pf Iraq.

They also discussed the details of the overhead lines and the contractor's work mechanism.
