His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Abdulaziz Bushehri, directed the formation of a technical investigation committee to find out the reasons that led to the power outage in some parts of the Qibla and Mirqab regions, which include some important government facilities.

His Excellency the Minister stressed that every negligent official will be held accountable if this is proven. He also emphasized at the same time the need for emergency teams to be prepared and to develop proactive plans to limit the occurrence of similar matters in the future.
