The Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water, Dr. Khaled Al-Fadhel, met this morning with the Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Mr. Luay Hameed Al-Khateeb, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry Eng. Mohamed Boushehri, the Assistant Undersecretary for Electrical Transmission Networks Eng. Jassim Al-Nouri, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Water Projects, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Roudhan.

On the Iraqi side, the Undersecretary of the Ministry Mr. Nafie Al-Humaidi, the Director of the Southern Electricity Mr. Ziad Al-Zreij, the Parliament Member Mr. Nasser Turki, His Highness Ambassador Alaa Al-Hashimy and the Chief Secretary of the Embassy Mrs. Alaa Mohammed Obaid, have all attended. The meeting between the two sides discussed the foundations of mutual cooperation between the two brotherly countries and addressed a number of common topics.
